The Haunting at Meckauer Park (Bethel Jaycees)

After 20 years of haunting Blue Jay Orchards, we've moved over to the woods and have created a unique haunted walking trail at Meckauer Park! This paved trail is almost a half mile long, and you're alone, on foot, with nothing between you and the creatures of the night!! Scream if you want, there's no one around to hear you! The Bethel Jaycees are well-known in New England for scary, over-the-top haunting, and the fear continues as a public walking trail by day turns into your worst nightmare when the sun sets! The event runs Fridays and Saturdays in October (Oct. 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27) from 7:30 - 11 p.m. Admission is $8 per head (the rest of your body is free!). The park is located at the intersection of Payne and Shelter Rock Roads in Bethel.
